David Drake

He wrote a good story, not subtle, not sophisticated, but always a rattlng good story. RIP, DD.
 
I loved the RCN series, and I always enjoyed reading his newsletters. I didn’t expect his retirement to be cut short so soon. RIP, Dave.

I've not read any of his work yet, but i know he was well regarded.

Ranks of Bronze was a great read .:cool:

I wish that during his writing career , that he penned Warhammer 40 K novel. :(
