Well, I've received the proof copy of my new fantasy novel, Legion of Bones, and very nice it looks too. I've heard that the words aren't bad, either. Here's me holding it and looking like Dr Prunesquallor from the Gormenghast books.

It's available on Kindle and in paperback, RIGHT HERE!

For a thousand years, the sorcerer Constantin Leth has plagued the world with his evil magic. Now there’s a huge bounty on his head, and Giulia Degarno intends to collect it.

But when Leth springs a trap on his pursuers, Giulia’s mission becomes personal. To bring him to justice, she will need the help of Pietro Sepello, an ambitious hunter of the living dead, and Prince Mavlio DeFalci, the cunning ruler of the city-state of Astrago - dangerous men with secrets to hide.

But Leth has plans of his own, plans centuries in the making. Now Giulia faces not just one enemy, but an army of the living dead.

Congrats on getting it out there, Toby! Wishing you every success with it.

To everyone else: as I think I said in the cover reveal thread, I read an advance copy of this and I liked it a lot. At a time when I was feeling a bit jaded with fantasy altogether, this became a book I looked forward to getting back to, and I got through it in only a few days. It has a great blend of action and intrigue, with complex and well-motivated characters, plenty of twists and tension, and it doesn't drag its feet.
