Hello, I have read in the last year
1. Game of thrones
2. LOTR
3. Dune
I am looking something similar. More towards fantasy than SF since I just finished Dune and for adults. Any recommendations?
I tried the whitcher but I got bored in the first book "the last wish".

I have seen a post about "the wheel of time", is it worth it? Is it better to go for Asimov?
Thank you!

You might want to give Joe Hill a try. There are a number of books and he hasn't disappointed yet!

I was thinking about this during my train journey home today - I would recommend the Saga of the Exiles by Julian May, a science fiction series that IMHO also has a foot in the fantasy camp. It's a set that I go back to every few years to re-read. I'd forgotten about The Golden Witchbreed, I'll have to dig that one out again.

The Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart
The Hollow Hills by Mary Stewart
The Last Enchantment by Mary Stewart

The Empire of the East Trilogy by Fred Saberhagen
The Deryni Chronicles by Katherine Kurtz
The Eternal Champion saga by Michael Moorcock
The Belgeriad by David Eddings

I preferred The Elenium by David Eddings. Less annoying children in the novel.

The Rift War series by Raymond E. Feist
The Thomas Covenant Chronicles by Stephen R Donaldson
