Fine. A tad far from Durban but then anywhere in the northern hemisphere is. :(

What is the book about? Is it a standalone or part of a series? How much to post it here?
Postage is £9.40, I'm afraid! (S. Africa)
The book follow our heroine Halfie, as her childhood certainties begin to unravel... It's a standalone book. However, I might be tempted to write a sequel in a couple of years, as reports back indicate people are liking it! :)

Stephen, what am I looking at in the lower half of the picture? Is this a sort of pouch with two compartments, with publicity sheets that may be taken by passersby?

I honestly don't understand what I'm seeing.

The book cover illustration was a linocut made by my partner Nicci's mum, Wendy. Nicci is a bookbinder working in Ludlow, and she created a set of cards from the same linocut. They're for sale in the bookbindery shop. The left hand image is a linocut of the Broad Street gate, Ludlow's only remaining original mediaeval gate.

WAIT! Shropshire is a real place? I thought Ellis Peters made it up.
Are you off to Narnia after that?

Congratulations on another great event!
Thanks! The book is receiving a lot of praise from readers. Alas, Shropshire is being "discovered" at the moment by rich folk from down south, so it's not as mysterious as it used to be.

They're really exceptionally attractive. So in the photo I'm looking at a display inside the shop?

Sorry about this @Stephen Palmer but my daughter needs a replacement radiator fitting in her new home and Saturday the 16th, for various reasons, is the only day that's possible.

There's a new bookshop opened here in Bridgnorth*. What's the chance of you doing a book signing there in the new year?

*Finally we have a bookshop in competition with that so-called bookshop W.H. Smith. The place is packed probably because they don't sell rubbish and aren't understaffed.
