Their monthly business meeting finished, the Elements begin their favourite argument.
“Clearly, I’m the most important,” says Earth. “I orbit the sun, providing a safe home for you lot.”
“What nonsense,” says Fire. “Without the heat I provide—”
“Using my oxygen,” says Air.
“My bowels spew heat,” says Earth.
“What’s our greatest creation?” asks Water. “Life. Without me, it couldn’t exist.”
“Don’t talk to me about life,” says Earth. Fire and Air nod in agreement.
