Timothy Zahn Icarus books

In 1999 he brought out a book called The Icarus Hunt.
Next month he's releasing a book called The Icarus Plot.

I can't find much about it

Does anyone know if it's a sequel or prequel?
Is there, apart from the titles, any relationship between the two books?

Wow, a 23 year gap. Reading the blurb on the Simon and Schuster website, it looks like they’re unrelated.

I’ve only read Zahn’s Star Wars books. They were pretty good, probably the best ones.
