I've watched four, and I've been secretly loving it, even though there's too much of teen angst in the mix on hating everything. But I also have to keep reminding me that at a lot of it is actually Burton's way of telling stories.
Wednesday is a very well-made character, and it would be intriguing to see a matured version without all the plush and frilly bits of her in the small screen. But, I just don't think Burton will make a ten-year jump, with her been in mid-twenties and still a goth.
One thing that I've liked about her character are the sarcastic and very iconic dialogue lines, like on entering the beast gave she quipped, "If you hear me screaming murder, I might be actually liking it..." But then the act actually shows that it's just a dark joke, and it's unlikely she'll act in the way she says she'll do it.
