I caught this on AMC+ last night.
I had never heard of it. It's apparently a single-episode spin-off assembled from digital shorties.
Good prequel to the USS Pennsylvania story. Beats most of the more recent FTWD episodes.

OK found it, that was well worth the watch.
Sorry, technically its six webisodes in one lasts about 45 minutes.
It's on YouTube, with two annoying guys commenting on it throughout.

The sub crew hit the kill requirement right on the head much more quickly than did LA residents in the early FTWD episodes. Was it their zombie response military training, or were they diehard Romero fans?

They did pick up on things quickly. Riley, if things had played out a little differently, would have been a story worth following.
