I actually watched this episode. It’s the first Dr Who I’ve watched in years. There was a lot of the doctor telling her companions to shut up because she knows best. Admittedly, my viewing of this episode on its own may put things out of context for me but I thought this was probably the most obnoxious doctor I’ve seen.

And the end with the weeping angel….. She says ‘get behind me’. What difference is that going to make? I expected better from somebody that, in her own words, knows best.

I’m crawling back into my hole now because I won’t be watching any more.

Episode 4 was very good I thought, and maybe The Doctor gets her comeuppance...

Don't worry, this series is her last outing as the Doctor
Not Jodie Whittaker's fault. The writing has too often been poor.

In fairness to old Whittaker, the scripts have called for some horrendous lines.

It's full of shouted info dump IMO with very little interaction with the other characters. They seem to have their own sub plot (and not good ones at that).

If I could do anything with the Who franchise it would be to get rid of the magic wand. Used to be a time when Who had to work things through and come up with ideas rather than the point and blast method the program makers now mandate.

I think they've let Whitty down a lot. This could have been an oportunity to have an intelligent female lead, but the makers obviously couldn't allow for a simple "think things through" and thought they needed to have a bombastic Who that's more male than any male lead that's ever been.

I can see why she felt the need to leave the show. (Welll I assume that's why she couldn't stand it anymore)
