Has anyone used Jericho Writers ? (UK)
They look to offer a pretty comprehensive range of services. At some cost obviously, they are a business.
I am considering using them to move forward in terms of both final editing and manuscript prep and also getting a leg up in finding an agent.

Hey, Astro. As a pretty established rule any 'publisher' who charges you, in order to publish you, or 'advise' you, should be avoided. If you are looking for an editor we've got some on this site, who can be trusted. In either event, good luck.

It's the same guy that's behind The Writer And Artists Yearbook, I think, so there's some cache behind it. But the best advice I ever got when I was unpublished was that you don't need a paid edit. They don't really give you an edge and with advances being the way they are these days they're unlikely to pay for themselves even if you do get a publishing contract. I asked two friends to do an edit on my novel draft and the draft that came out of their suggestions was the one that got published.
