Really like Smaug and the Hilltop Trolls
Not too sure about all those hairy legs though. toes yes, but not legs...
And is it just me or is there a hint of Peter the Great about Beorn?

I rather like those, despite the hairy legs (is this a mistranslation?). Smaug looks excellent, as do what I think are the elves. Gandalf has a touch of Vincent Price's Witchfinder General about him and seems rather small. I always imagined him as tall, but slightly stooped.

At least one of these pics made it into "The Annotated Hobbit" - if you don't know this, I highly recommend for its wide variety of illustrations as well as commentary.
