Recommend a few Star-Trek novels.

The band Black Foxxs wrote a song called Sela.Shes a character from Star Trek: Next Generation.
 
I haven't read a Star Trek book since the nineties, so all of my recommendations are from then. I liked Diane Duane, Peter David and Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens books.

Actually, I have about 200 paperbacks that need a new home. They're in good condition and I don't want anything for them, just postage.

I've always liked Diane Duane's books. Spock's World and the Rihannsu series are the best stories about Vulcans and Romulans I've read.
 
Diane Carey was a great Star Trek author.

I don't know about anyone else, but I haven't read one published after about 1995, I think, so I couldn't say. Also, my Star Trek reading has always been limited to TOS books. I could never get into the TNG or later series of books.

Dark Mirror and Vendetta are pretty good Next Gen novels.

Both are sequels of sorts to classics trek episodes .:)
 
I used to have a lot of Star Trek novels, mainly TOS. Although they were numbered I put had them on my bookshelf in chronological order, usually somewhere on the book it would say this story takes place before X or after Y and I would file them accordingly. Was this a step too far?

There are a whole lot more that I could list as well, but these were some of my favorites. I mostly read TOS books as I found the characters just translated over to print better than in the other series, but there were a few books from the other series that I liked.
 
It has been a few years since I read one but my favourite was a Next Generation book:
Q-in-Law by Peter David and others.

It was really funny.
