one of the greatest compendiums of SF short stories from a single author.

if you like that, move on to Rhialto the Marvellous, or one of the many collections of Vance ss, often cheaply found on ebay

A recent Jack Vance collection is The Jack Vance Treasury. I've not personally read it but it appears to contain much of his best short fiction, and Strahan is a good anthologist.
