Apologies if there is already a thread on this.
Just watched the first couple of episodes from the first series on BBCiPlayer. Brilliant. Clever and funny.
David Tennant and Michael Sheen play themselves under lockdown ( this originally aired around April 2020) trying to use video conferencing and clearly going a bit mad. Some similarities to The Trip with Rob Brydon/Steve Coogan, but whereas that was an expensive meandering grand tour, Staged consists of 15 minute episodes filmed from the actors homes on no budget at all, and it has acute, darkly humorous meaning in the circumstances of the pandemc.
Best tv I have seen in months. Series 2 started tonight.
