If that is correct (and I have no idea either one way or the other) then there is a lot of mis-information being posted online about this. I saw a Tweet with Google Maps before and after pictures (supposedly from August 2020 and November 2020) showing its appearance. Also, I've heard that it didn't "disappear" but that four guys came and took it away (it had no foundations) but if four guys came and took it away, why didn't anyone there (and loads of people travelled out there to see it* ) ask who they were, why they were taking it, where it was going?Apparently the Utah monolith has been visible on Google Earth for a couple of years before it was "found", if anyone wanted to look for it...
It is believed it was delivered to the wrong house and subsequently took it upon itself to start without them.The amazing thing with the one in the desert, that was seen during a survey of big horn sheep, was that it was still smooth and shiny with no dents in it.
