DISCUSSION THREAD -- October 2020 75 -Word Writing Challenge

Well done to young @Danny McG
*Note to self - I must dig out my old stories, 'just in case'

Big thanks to @nixie for the vote and to those who mentioned my entry

Just in case there is anyone who doesn't know, my entry was 'borrowed' from The Teddy Bear's Picnic

I was singing it in my head before I completed first line.

Thanks for the shortlisting and - woohoo! - another vote, much appreciated Ursa. I must admit it was your username that inspired my 'ursine oats'. What are they? Who knows but it sounded right what I used the phrase.

And well done Danny McG, a great winner.

@Danny McG
Congrats on a strong and popular win.

Thanks @Parson for the precious vote.
Not a fan of horror, so had to go my own way on this. Still, got a good number of mentions and listings so thank you everyone for that. First time there were enough to do a collective thanks, so I'm very happy. More so as I was really happy myself with this one. As a father of two daughters, it was the first time I have made myself emotional as I wrote.

Great work one and all, keep it up.
