"Learning how to analyze a science fiction film requires suspension of disbelief and a sense of imagination."

Interesting article, even though it doesn't really deliver on its promise

The title of the article should be "How to Take a Dump on Gravity, Plug Two Other Articles That Are Somewhat Connected To This Topic, Then List a Bunch of Technologies From Science Fiction Stories and Movies That Are Like Things We Have Today."

Yeah, I should probably be more discerning when sharing dross
Don't worry - it's surprisingly common. I once wrote about 1000 words about a film, looked at it before posting, and thought "You know, you've just wasted ¾ of an hour of your life composing utter rubbish about utter rubbish"...

I appreciate it is on a Blog called FUTURISM but not all Science Fiction is a prediction of the future. Not even if Ray Bradbury said so! It may well be "the art of the possible" but that is a possible future, a possible present or a possible past, and not always a probable one.
