Union Club Mysteries
Please can someone solve a conundrum for me that even Griswold might find difficult? I have the 1985 paperback version of The Union Club Mysteries, and some of the words are missing (faulty printing press). Mostly I can fill them in myself, but in Griswold’s explanation at the end of “Catching the Fox”, my book has
'automatically watch “top-bottom”. ……………………….. orner away so …. no …………, and then reversed the light, putting green on top.'
Has anyone got another edition with the missing words correctly printed?

Well, that was quickly solved! I hope now that puzzle has been dealt with you'll stay on and report on how you're enjoying the book in this month's Reading thread July 2020 Reading Thread

Meanwhile, I've moved this over to Book Discussion, as Book Search is really for times when we're trying to recall names and authors of books we read in the dim and distant past (very distant for some of us...)
