I was curious to know if theres anyone here thats interested in games from a development aspect as opposed to strictly just being a gamer?

Not a game developer, but I am interested in the concept art end of game development. Just sent off some sample artwork today for a kickstarter scifi/fantasy TCG game.

I'm sure its no surprise but there is a huge overlap between writing scifi for writing scifi's sake and games designing.
You essentially have to write the lions share of a book to design a game.

Oh, absolutely! As I've been looking to get into the concept art/illustration end of the gaming world, I've been reading about the whole process from start to finish and it's insane just how much goes into even the 'simplest' of games. It's why most games have to have a large team in order to come to reality.
