SETI @ Home pushes "pause"

One of the things I've often thought is absolutely brilliant is SETI @ Home. If in the unlikely circumstance you've not heard of this, it is a program loaded on your computer to crowd compute data drawn from radio telescopes looking for alien transmissions which only runs when your computer isn't working on other things. . It was one of the earliest use of "crowdsourced computing." At it's height there were 20 million computers running this, now it's more like a million but the relatively few scientists which helped start this in 1999 are now aging and have never published an analysis of the data. So they've pushed the "pause" button to devote their time to doing this.
