Looking for the name of an old book I read way back but for some reason the plot pops back into my concious every now and then. I need to put this to rest. The plot ran along the lines that Earth had been destroyed by war a couple of thousand years in the past. From what I remember the cause of the war was racial. Coloured against white. By the end of the war the coloured survivors escaped to Mars where they developed a technologically advanced civilisation. So, a few thousand years later the Martians send a research mission back to Earth which they discover is not a complete slagheap. Antarctica is a green, jungle filled continent swarming with life and populated by a very primitive, almost stoneage, white culture. And so the tale begins. If this rings a bell with anyone I would be grateful if you could post a name or a link.
