When I first did a Goog this morning it didn't mention he was dead, obviously the sites like Wikipedia etc have been updated since then.... that's why I asked here, I thought maybe a fan would be more aware

I knew Paul a little, I got to know him when he lived in Exeter and I was nearby. He was a lovely bloke - generous, kind, humane. He'll be much missed by his many friends and admirers.
