This may mean something to some of you of a certain age. Author of Prozac Nation, portrayed on film by Christina Ricci, and, depending on your point of view, either Generation-X spokesperson or solipsistic narcissist. (For what it's worth, she would have copped more to the second charge than the first, though she changed significantly in the second half of her life.)

I'm very sorry to hear that. I thought her 2002 memoir "More, Now, Again" was excellent and informative, a grim and articulate read of her travels/travails through therapy. It left me with tremendous respect for her. I didn't think there was as much substance in the earlier "Prozac Nation", but that could have been more me than her, as it sold so well.
