As the title suggests this is the discussion thread for the November / December 100 Word Challenge.

As some of you will have noticed we don't have the corresponding entry thread. This is because I haven't heard back from Mike regarding theme / genre. I PMd him on Friday but he hasn't logged in since October 24th.

I suggest that we wait another couple of days but, in the meantime, come up with a backup plan.

We had four people in second place in the September / October 100 - Victoria, Danny, Elvet and myself. I'm excluding myself so that leaves three. I've looked back at shortlistings and Danny had 3 and Elvet had 4. I hope I've got that right, corrections welcomed.

So, in the absence of Mike contacting me by, say, Wednesday, I'm suggesting that Elvet comes up with a theme / genre. This also fits in with the fact that Elvet has volunteered to host the challenge.

Thoughts?

I'm fine with this, though I would give Mike a little more time. There's no rush, December is still a long way off. Besides, right now I'm busy getting a grip on my 75-worder...

In a few days there’ll be an entry thread and some instructions.

Welcome to the Chrons and the challenges. You may have noticed that there’s a 75 challenge and another 300 will be along in January.

Well, this is an unexpected honour. As important as the votes are, it seems that mentions are just as valuable. I will make more of an effort to shortlist the challenges from this point on.
I should be able to post the new Anon challenge today.

Wow! That’s going to take some thought. And so it should.

I seem to remember we had ‘dance’ in the 75 some years back but ‘sword and sorcery’ is entirely new.

Why do I think reality TV is going to receive some play in this contest?
