Very clever. I would be interested to see the original French for comparison. The translation of Asterix is sublime. I have to say this one passed me by when I last read it, probably 40 years ago.

Seems everyone is doing IPA these days . Not that I dislike the stuff, but come on - a bit of variety please.

I had to look up Mild and Best. I like how many of the ale over there are lower Alc %. We need more of that here in the States.

A shout out for my local Ale house. They have a board showing what's on, what's coming on and what's coming soon. Usually a selection of IPA, bitter, and porter or stout. Alas Mild is rare these days (though I badger him to get Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby on from time to time note: it is 6% Alc) Generally I go for the 4% beers these days.
The best bit is I get free beer for playing music on a Friday afternoon
