Incredibly sad news. Hauer had some incredibly memorable parts and was underrated as an actor in my opinion. The rain can't hide my tears over this.

I know; he was far better actor to be remembered for that commercial, but that's the abiding image I have of him.

With Roy Batty, he had one of the most memorable death scenes in cinema. The replicant in the rain with the dove flying off is probably the best way to remember him.

The older I get the more these bother me. RIP. This guy was a massive contributor to the Sci-Fi and fantasy genres on TV and in the movies. He always a bit of class, and gravitas to some less than stellar shows.

As a Dutchman it was always exciting to see Rutger spice up American movies and television. Until I discovered David Lynch, Blade Runner was my favourite movie.

Yes a great actor and a great loss, I think his Blade Runner speech outstanding, especially when you think that he wrote it, it was not part of the original script, it's a great tribute to his acting abilities, such a shame to lose him R.I.P. Rutger!!!!!
