Ant-Man (2015)

It has potential for some new fx, the Ant-Swarm... but otherwise another movie made from a comic book, how could it be other than silly fun at best? Gotta like AntMan though..... he's woops I just stepped on him.

A little late to watching this. I get the impression that people didn't like this but I thought it was good. The story is a little derivative, but which super-hero origin story could say that it wasn't. There were apparently a lot of difficulties with the script, but I can see Edgar Wright's influence and parts of the script were genuinely funny. The Avengers cross-over was funny. The three side-kicks were not so funny. We don't see enough Evangeline Lilly in film and TV either. Having seen Michael Douglas in Jewel of the Nile/Romancing the Stone then he is believable as a retired ex-SHIELD agent/scientist. Anyway, there are two sequels and counting, so it couldn't be that bad.
