What a 2m asteroid impact looks like live

Asteroid 2018 LA was only spotted on Saturday - but it was clear it was on a collision course with Earth. Though only a boulder at 2m (6 foot), it was never going to be a threat - but traveling at 38,000mph (10 miles a second) it created quite the light show over South Africa:

Hmm they say:

A boulder-sized asteroid designated 2018 LA was discovered Saturday morning, June 2, and was determined to be on a collision course with Earth, with impact just hours away

and then later:

"It is also only the second time that the impact location was predicted well ahead of the event itself."

Their definition of "well ahead" doesn't quite match my own.
