Discussion Thread - March 2018 100 Word Anonymous Challenge

To me, this will be " The Triskaidekaphobia Challenge ". (That's for a certain Chroner who has chased me to the dictionary more than once). All the stories were fun but some made me guess and comment so here goes;Positions Available, Cathbad. You could always go to work for the mouse!
Battle for Britain, The Judge. They came to serve man!
Weather Mistress, Dannymcg. She has her way with him!
Protective Custody, Starbeast. You're never safe!
Operation: Occupation Earth, Mosaix. I keep picturing Archie and Edith Bunker or George and Weezie Jefferson!
And Odysseus hid in the Great Horse, Victoria Silverwolf. Please turn off my lazy switch!

Vote goes to Operation: Occupation Earth. It's equally creative and hilarious!
Now if I could just get a certain song out of my head, everything would be fine.

Status of guesses to date:

We currently have a two-way tie for first place and, coming up close behind, a two-way tie for second place. It's a tight race, folks. Who's going over the top? Keep those votes and guesses coming in.

I've clearly gone a bit dotty this month as my short list contains the 3 titles with lots of dots in.
.... and Odysseus hid in the great horse
Well, Maybe A Quiet Place By The Sea…
Judge, Jury and…

And my vote went to
Well, Maybe A Quiet Place By The Sea…

After much thought my vote went to:

Operation: Occupation Earth (#27)

Whoever wrote this has a deep understanding of all that is truly British and must have researched it over many years.

Here's a clue for you guessers, not one person has voted for my effort this time!

Together with my 75 word entry getting disqualified it makes a dismal month for me :(

Sometimes I want to like a post to show friendly support but the act of liking could be taken the wrong way, as with your post Danny. Cheer up. There’s always next month. :)
