Looks like a good book - and I'd certainly like to get along to the exhibition. There's an interesting article on Tolkien on the Guardian website today.

Thanks for that link, Steve. Incidentally, I don't know what the source is for the Le Guin "locker room" remark, but surely it's misleading -- ? Le Guin admired Tolkien's work.
