Do the polyps appear outside of Shadow Out of Time?

The more often I reread these later stories, the more I wonder how crowded the Earth became with alien life forms. Humans may be insignificant, but it seems Earth is a popular spot.

In rereading Shadow Out of Time, I started to think about how we learn of many aliens across multiple stories, but I don't think the "polyps" (weird foes of the Great Race) appear outside of this story. Does anyone know if they show up in others?
