Just a heads up to anyone who has been having problems with the forums that they should now be working fine.

Last week there was an issue with attachments not working properly, so I reinstalled the forum software. Now, after doing this it's not uncommon for people to have problems because their browsers are calling up out of date files.

So when further errors were reported this week I presumed it was related.

Instead, it turns out a new security system had been installed on the server, and this was causing the issues with error messages and 403's.

This has now been disabled.

My apologies for not realising what had caused the problem, but everything should now be running fine. :)

Brian has the site a previous look ? It looks like a back-up one.

Yeap. No IP confirmation required yet. And I was able to dowload and post some cartoons. :)

And apologies for the database errors this afternoon - the database software on the server crashed, but that should be fixed and running fine again now. :)
