I meant as in how I write a novel.
The experience of writing The Girl With Two Souls was so positive, I soon realised that it suited me perfectly. So, since then, all my novels have been written in the same way - very intensively over a short period (almost always Winter), a time when I have virtually no distractions.
A while ago I likened it to character actors who stay 'in character' even during their lunch breaks - Steve Coogan is one such.
With the Factory Girl trilogy I had to retain and balance a great deal of material in my mind, and so the intensive approach was particularly good.
