I meant as in how I write a novel.
The experience of writing The Girl With Two Souls was so positive, I soon realised that it suited me perfectly. So, since then, all my novels have been written in the same way - very intensively over a short period (almost always Winter), a time when I have virtually no distractions.
A while ago I likened it to character actors who stay 'in character' even during their lunch breaks - Steve Coogan is one such.
With the Factory Girl trilogy I had to retain and balance a great deal of material in my mind, and so the intensive approach was particularly good.
Some new news!
December will see something different relating to the Factory Girl trilogy, and also with a supplementary novel, not originally published, called The Conscientious Objector.
