Don't forget that David Tennant used up a regeneration and kept the face.
Instead of completing the process, he used the reset, and then channelled the remaining energy into his spare hand.
That's an entire regeneration used up.
That's why the Time Lords sent Matt Smith a brand new batch of Regenergy (that's what I call it lol) in The Time of the Doctor.
Cool thread! I haven't seen the old series, but I've been thinking about it. My favorite of the 12 doctors is David Tennant - that's from watching the newest version of the show.
Turned on the BBC on the Sunday afternoon the weekend that John Kennedy was murdered.
The radiophonic orchestra came on. First episode.
Did not follow Who (parents moved us back to the US) closely as I got older. But caught up.
My dad recorded a few episodes. Unfortunately that was when videotape became available. If the tech had been available earlier we would have had an interesting collection of old stuff that the BBC trashed, as dad was an engineer and recorded things from the first days of the new technology.
But my real point is to thank RE for this lovely tribute series.
