Hi Chronners:

The Pixel Project - my little anti-Violence Against Women nonprofit - is hosting the second annual International Women's Day Edition of our Read For Pixels campaign this March.

Read For Pixels is an online campaign that collaborates with award-winning bestselling authors to reach out to book lovers and fandoms about violence against women as well as raise funds to keep our anti-violence work going.

This March, we have 11 female authors taking part in the campaign including:
  • Alexandra Sokoloff
  • Claudia Gray
  • Colleen Houck
  • Darynda Jones
  • Kelley Armstrong
  • Keri Arthur
  • Laurie R. King
  • Martina Boone
  • Nalini Singh
  • Rachel Vincent
  • Tamora Pierce.
They'll be taking part in Google Hangouts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings EST/PST throughout the month of March to do readings, discuss violence against women and sexism in pop culture, and answer fan questions live. They are all FREE to attend - you just need a decent internet connection.

Here's the schedule of Google Hangouts:

The links to the Google Hangout event pages and YouTube pages are on the far right column of the schedule.

If you aren't familiar with watching live Google Hangouts and participating in the Q&A sessions, just scroll down to the second half of the page for step-by-step instructions.

Thanks, everybody!
