The Prestige was a rarity of where the movie was better than the book, so I heard.

Nope it wasn't. Christopher Priest is a wonderful and tricksy writer. I'm glad I read the book well before the movie. But the movie was pretty excellent also.

Michael Moorcocks The Final Programme was butchered as a movie but still I enjoyed it.

I remember reading that Moorcock refused anything else to be made into a movie after seeing it.

If I remember correctly. , It was based on the first of the Jeremiah Cornelius books.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers by Jack Finney Evennn though thye changed thing overall I thought both the 1956 film and the 1978 film were terrific adaptations of this one.

I Would have liked to have seen an Eternal Champion film .

Interestingly in the early 1970's , there was a crossover comic in which Elric of Melnibone and Conan the Barbarian met and teamed up for an adventure.
