Battling huge crazy-looking monsters/demons?

Hey all I'm looking for a book where you fight lots of huge, powerful monsters/demons (similar to the ones in dark souls). Any recommendations?? Thanks a lot!

It's a modern [strike]beat combo[/strike] video game, Ray.

I presume by "you", you mean the main character (or, otherwise, Citadel of Chaos, the Fighting Fantasy Gamebook, might be up your street). You might enjoy Simon R. Green's "Blue Moon Rising", which has lots of good demons in it (and plays around with fairy tale structure in fun way).

Have you tried Peter V Brett's Demon cycle, the demons rule the night, travel between towns virtually unheard of.

Harry Dresden battles some serious beasties and demons in Jim Butcher's series. It's not as "dark" as that game always seemed though.
