The Inheritance

Ok, The Inheritance - a mix of short stories from both Megan Lindholme and Robin Hobb - as we know, the same person.

The "Megan" stories are ok. Not great but ok. But then there's "Homecoming" set in the Rain Wilds. If you enjoyed the Rain Wilds Chronicles then this one is a must - very good!

Just getting into "The Inheritance" now - set in Bingtown. Good so far

I thought Homecoming was a real treat and enjoyed it immensely.

A couple of Megan's stories hung around in my brain but I just don't enjoy the writing style as much. It's interesting how one writer can swap styles so clearly and effectively. I'm sure there are some who would much prefer Megan of course.
