Stephen King interviews Lee Child

Stumbled onto this - an interview with Lee Child, conducted by Stephen King, filmed a couple of days ago:

I really enjoyed this, thanks Brian! One odd, obscure side note though (and not about the J. Reacher books)...Stephen, in talking about the filming of The Green Mile, said that Michael Clarke Duncan was a massively bulky, yet, exceptionally short man (he mentioned, for example, that Mr. Duncan sometimes stood on wooden crates when filming scenes with Tom Hanks). IMDB says that the late Mr. Duncan was 6' 4 1/2" tall, while Mr. Hanks is listed as being only 6' tall at IMDB. I guess dimensions are still fabricated in Hollywood.

And Stephen King is tall, so maybe Duncan just didn't look tall enough to him?

Btw, I also like the way Child mentions mentions coming together, like atoms forming a molecule. It reminds of something Teresa has previously mentioned, where you might think of a big new idea for your story, only to find that you've already written in the connections you'd need for it. It's always a good feeling, that.
