Max Von Sydow has been cast as The Three Eyed Raven. This seems like great casting. He is an actor of some renown and will bring gravitas to the role.

Also cast is Ian McShane in a yet unnamed role. Speculation is it could be as Randyll Tarly or Howlend Reed.

Randyll Tarly or Euron Greyjoy would be my guess. Howland Reed is already in the show since we have met the High Sparrow. That's my theory at least. Which I plan to hold on to until the books or show proves me wrong.

Interesting theory. It is something I have thought as well. However I have come to the conclusion that The High Sparrow is jusy about the worst type of person you can deal with. A fanatic.
