Walking dead Tell Tale game

I know its a game, but to me its more like interacting with a tv show or long movie. I was curious if anyone else plays. And if so do you prefer it over the TV series? I've been genuinely caught off guard a couple of times by the game. It's pretty brilliant.

It's also given me a lot more hope for the west coast spin off because I think it demonstrates the depth of the brand that I honestly didn't see when I first started watching.
