The Kurt Vonnegut Thread

I've only read Slaughterhouse 5 out of all of them, but thought it was great. It had an impact on my philosophy about time and death.
Back 2017 Dan Harmon .

I hadn't heard that. As much as I find Harmon's schtick a bit tiresome, I think he could really pull off an adaption of Sirens as they both seem to come from a place of deep tragedy and comedy.

I really, really like Vonnegut. Harrison Bergeron makes me genuinely laugh out loud. The low budget movie of that seemed to rob it of all its absurdist humour, though.

I went through a real Vonnegut / PKD jag in the early 00's, although I missed out on Breakfast of Champions.
Funnily enough, I watched a MediaDeathCult review of this book and i was thinking of getting it on my next book haul.

I've not read any of his books, but i have heard that he has a wicked sense of humour.

I vaguely remember seeing the Slaughter House 5 movie when in my early teens, but i don't think i understood it.
For me, he was an author to binge read. Back in university, I read probably five of his books in a few months. Numerous friends did as well. (Another binge read author for my group of friends was Tom Robbins, so I often associate the two.)
