I really enjoyed the Emperor's Soul. It was clever and very entertaining.

I loved it, too. :)

Now I have to read the new Stormlight...

i like mistborn. that should be a good starting point for his works, or elantris. warbreaker, yeeeaah... just for fun. i fall in love with the stormlight archive (its massiveness can be heavy at times though). haven't tried his YA books yet.

I'm mainly a "Mistborn" fan. Those are the ones I've read three times and can name 20-odd characters from without stopping to think. "The Stormlight Archives" is compulsive reading, but I find the majestically slow pace exhausting. I've still not read "Rhythm of War", as I know from experience I'll binge-read it over a single weekend and be left utterly exhausted. I've yet to read "Warbreaker" or the "Reckoners" series.

I thought the one-off novellas in "Arcanum Unbounded" were phenomenal, especially "Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell."
