Important vs Importantly

This one surprised me. I used most/more importantly all the time. Guess that's not correct:

So for the record and a few giggles I tried to search for uses of importantly in a sentence and this was tops.

Nice resource. Also, "importantly" is an adverb. Better to cut it for that reason alone.

Ah but it's only one adverb and as such it feels more importunately important.
