I loved the original series with it's continuing story arc. the Quest for Iscandar an the battle with the comet empire, Only saw part of the Bolar War. One of the best science fiction series of all time.

Ive see a part of the remake series and It's impressive

I loved the original series, but I've not seen any of the remake series though. I do have two copies of the live action film however.

The live action film is not bad but , I dislike tthe changes that were made to the Gamelons their ships and Iscandar.

I keep meaning to see the original series. Lord knows I've sung the theme countless times in public! Somehow, it always fails to grab me. And I like Matsumoto.

Back in the 80s in the UK BSY had a VHS release called Space Cruiser. I presume it was a edited down version of the US series to make a feature length film. I watched it all the time as a kid but the VHS has been M.I.A for at least 20 years. Really wish I could see it again.
