It is the end of the world, as we know it and only one man can the human race from total wipe out, that man is Denzel Washington and he has a book that will help him on his quest.
The Book of Eli is a sort of blend between Mad Max and The Ten Commandments, the book that Denzel Washington’s character is charged with looking after is combo of part Bible and part encyclopaedia, and this is the book that will change the world for the better.
The world came to a dramatic end over thirty years back, it was something to do with a huge tear in the Earth’s ozone layer, this led the breakdown of civilisation and chaos.
Thrown in for good measure is Gary Oldman, naturally he plays the bad guy that wants the book, as he is starting his own community.
There are a couple of neat trailers out for the film that is due to be released in the US in January.
