Ryan Reynolds having played Deadpool in X Men Origins: Wolverine and as the lead role in the Green Lantern it seems that he is looking at yet another role that started off as comic.
According to an interview in the industry magazine Collider, it seems that he is being lined up for a role in the film adaption of the cool comic novel RIPD published by Dark Horse Comics.
RIPD is a graphic novel based on the Rest In Peace Department, a police unit manned by dead officers whose job it is to keep the dead from speaking out about their lives and deaths.
The story follows two cops, one who has recently died and his new partner a western gunslinger who has clearly been on the force since the later part of 19th century.
