Best-selling horror author Stephen King has listed his top flicks for 2010.

The top ten appeared in Entertainment Weekly magazine (via Slashfilm.com) and it contains some interesting picks.

His number one fave movie of the year is horror movie Let Me In, which in fact he called the best horror film of the decade, no less. We enjoyed the original Swedish version, Let the Right One In, although we’re not convinced regarding the accolade of horror film of the decade.

At number two, he had The Town, and at number three, what would likely be many people’s top choice, Inception.

Following that was The Social Network, the film about Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook, and then Takers. Kick Ass was number six, Splice number seven, then Monsters, Jackass 3D and finally war film Green Zone.

Yes, you did read that right, Jackass 3D. There are certainly some controversial choices here, to say the least, but it’s just Mr King’s opinion.

Last year, his top pick went along with the critics, singling out Hurt Locker as the best of 2009, a rather overrated film in our opinion.
