Cats have their own planet?

I have heard of a story (or novel) by I think, Philip K. Dick, about cats who, when awake on Earth are asleep on their own home planet, and vice versa... Has anyone heard of this or read it? I would love to get ahold of a copy, but don't know the title, and not certain it was actually PKD who wrote it.

I don't think this is it, but in Lovecraft's "The Dream-quest of Unknown Kadath", cats go to the dark side of the moon at night.

Re: Cats have their own planet? Catland!

Sorry, can't recall your novel. But on a sidelight, have you seen the "Catland" animated video on YouTube? I've enjoyed it very much; I like the stylized scenes. A cat wakes up to find that all her cat friends have gone to Catland. But she has no idea where it is. So she has to embark on a worldwide expedition to find it at last. Just put Catland in the YouTube search box.

Cats going to another world when there asleep on this one!
Wow, this certainly explains why my guys spend so much time sleeping.
Wonder what it's like there?
